What problem is BabbleBits addressing?

As small entrepreneurs we often suffer from the serious malady synergy deficiency. In the traditional corporate or government environment, we have legions of professionals exchanging ideas to achieve a common goal and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. This is called synergy. The problem with this traditional environment is that these goals are not typically your goals.

Small entrepreneurs working in isolation (or small groups of two or three at best) often don't have the benefit of synergy.

The synergy of a group is powerful. The BabbleBits study group in conjunction with the Master Mind group allows us to benefit from this powerful phenomenon.

In our focus groups, we support each other, offer ideas to solve other's problems and solicit help as we overcome our own challenges in growing our professional practices. Then, on a whole new level, the group members will hold each participant accountable for implementing the steps each has outlined to achieve their goals (with the participants consent, of course).

So, how is BabbleBits different?

Simply put, we're interactive. You will be participating in activities such as advising others. And you'll be receiving great advice from others.

Contrast this type of meeting to others where you've passively listened to an expert present. Most often the presenter is feeding us great ideas, food for thought, and answers to questions we may have. While this type of interaction is quite valuable, how many times have you left a meeting saying to yourself, "That was great information. I need to do those things to improve <my_improvement_goes_here/>"? The next day, we're back to our busy lives and forget to make time to implement the great ideas we heard the day before. And we never get to them, and we forget about them.

This pattern occurs when we read informative books too.

With the Master Mind group, for example, not only will you be setting your own "SMART" goals, but the group will be interacting with you to help you stay on target. This means that between meetings, you'll be more proactive with accomplishing what you set out to accomplish. The important things, that we keep putting off because we're too busy doing day-to-day stuff, are going to start getting done (remember "big rocks and little rocks"?) .

Participate and you are going to be a better you.
