Welcome to the BabbleBits.com professional study group!
Next Meeting: Cheshire Cat Brewpub (See calendar on home page -- generally these are 2nd Monday evening every month).

What is a Study Group?
A study group is (in our case) a group of professionals who want to grow their IT consulting practice by learning new techniques. Every meeting will typically feature one or more chapters from a book. In the meeting, we will solicit for volunteers to lecture from portions of that chapter. While Siegfried will facilitate the first meeting this does not mean he will do all the lecturing! See the announcements on the front page for the current homework assignment.
Why Study Groups?
As a result of the dire need to constantly update our technical skills, we often neglect to update our knowledge and skills for running a business. This study group will give us the oppertunity to cover some books that will help us in this area. Questions like How do I aquire new cleints? and What do I do when I get more work than I personally can handle? never have simple answers and are a constant challenges.
Study Group Meetings
During the meeting, we will try to cover the reading assignment by means of volunteer lecture presentations, group discussions and question and answers. We benefit from each other's
